Scoliosis Surgery
There are many spine-related deformities in terms of shape, alignment, and structure of the vertebral column. Some deformities are minor, while others are severe. Out of many, one type of spine deformity is scoliosis. It is a condition of an abnormal curve of the spine and is a common spine condition found in adolescents.
A normal shape of the spine comprises a curve at the shoulder top as well as a curve at the lower back, and the spine is curved from side to side; you might have scoliosis. It should be noted that about 80 percent of scoliosis cases have no identified cause, and the condition is often diagnosed during the initial seven years of a child's life.
